An Umbrella

I'm grateful for an umbrella! Let's just go through the insane decision the weather decided to make today: it was like spring earlier in the week then POOF. Today, seemingly out of no-where, it starts to snow. And it snowed hard. It was cold and windy too. My boots couldn't even keep the water from all the puddles and slush out. Today I wore my North Face jacket---without a hood. So, my umbrella saved me from getting drenched. And I have to add I'm grateful for the miracle that I didn't wear flip flops today, since that could have happened very easily. I'm just plain lucky. Oh and today my editing class was canceled and it was canceled for Monday. Miracle. That left me more time this morning to cram for a History of the English Language Test, for Old English I had at noon. UGH! But I felt way great about and may have stressed/over-studied a bit! Love when things just work out like that. Then I came home to a bunch of letters for me in the mail!! Plus, my roommate just shared a piece of a delicious homemade apple pie she made in her class. And to top this great day off, I'm overdosing on muddy buddies---but that should deserve a post all to itself.
