Mission Papers: Check
I'm grateful that my mission papers are officially finished! They'll be sent in tomorrow, and because of general conference I don't think my call will come for at least two weeks. Nate and I will be serving for almost the exact same 18 months. And this mission paperwork has ALL happened within the month of March and it has been a whirlwind to say the least. But what I've known all my life, and even more now is Joseph Smith's motto: "When the Lord commands---do it!" I have lots of reasons not to go on a mission, but Heavenly Father only needs to give me one to trump all of my issues: that He needs me to serve a mission. As Sister Julie Beck boldly stated, "the Lord doesn't care about my issues, He cares about His sheep. It might not always be my plan, or what I want, but in the end it always works out better than I could have imagined. It would definitely be and more comfortable not to go, but that's not why we're here on earth.
