"The Divine Call of a Missionary"

I'm grateful for Elder Rasband's talk: "The Divine Call of a Missionary." My call should be here this Wednesday and I can't even count how many times I have listened to this talk in the past 2 weeks. For me, giving up all control and being assigned a place to serve for 18 months is one of the scariest things I've ever done, and it has required quite a bit of faith. But Elder Rasband quotes Elder Erying by stating that they are inspired to know perfectly where each missionary should be assigned. And when I remember that an apostle knew something perfectly about me when he saw my picture up on the computer screen last Thursday, there's not much room left for fear.
